To separate the alloy granularities needs the liberation of the alloy from the slag, which requires the further crushing or the milling of the slag according to the specific situation of slag. If the embedded size is very fine, rod milling or ball milling will be considered while crushing shall be choosed when it comes to the coarse embedded granularities, and high-efficiency crusher or fine crusher can be ok to fulfill the requirement.
In the crushed or milled silica-manganese smelting slag, the alloy granules and the waste are separated or liberated. The silica-manganese alloy granules are of high density while the density of the waste is lower. With this difference, gravity separation will be a great way to separate the alloy out. And the alloy granules can be used for smelting or sold directly while the final waste can be sold to the cement factory or new-type buiding material factory.
